In response to a request from one of our major UK clients, pearcemayfield designed a four day workshop that included both PRINCE2® training leading to the Foundation examination, and also the opportunity to apply the principles of the PRINCE2 method to specific projects and situations with the organisation.

This involved building in facilitated sessions throughout the course where delegates could take a topic, such as the organisational and management structure, and then discuss the issues and challenges and explore how PRINCE2 principles could help. Individual delegates would be encouraged to 'lead' these sessions, while the pearcemayfield consultant would guide and coach accordingly.

At another point in the course, senior managers were encouraged to come into a session to set a wider business context of the training, and to answer questions that had been raised by the delegates. Our consultant was then able to further reinforce the practical application of PRINCE2, whilst still maintaining the essential concepts.
